Also, 21% of the population reports that shoulder pain and ankle sprains are the most common sports related injuries in individuals. It is clear that our society has promoted a more inactive, less healthy and non functional lifestyle that has led to an increase in poor health, injuries, and pain. At Ascension Fitness we are going to do the opposite of that. We will give you functional exercises that will help correct muscle imbalances, which will help reduce any pain you may be experiencing. Normal exercise programs tend to isolate muscles through the use of machines which can result in an increased risk of injury and pain. Ascension Fitness promotes the use of the seven primal pattern movements (squat, lunge, bend, push, pull, twist, and gait) to make sure that you can function effectively in everyday situations. By mastering these movements correctly, you can look good, feel great, and function optimally.
